After the shock announcement that Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons’ lead singer, Joel Peters, left the band in September last year, Campbell and co were forced to postpone their Australian tour.
Despite the setback, the band promised to “deliver an unforgettable rock ’n’ roll experience” when they returned to Australia, which just so happens to be in March.
Joined by new vocalist Julian Jenkins, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons have been ripping it up across Europe, performing at heavy metal festivals such as Wacken, Hellfest and Graspop, while also playing stadiums supporting Guns N’ Roses.
The rescheduled shows begin at The Triffid in Brisbane on Friday 6 March and continue at Manning Bar in Sydney on Saturday 7 March, Max Watts in Melbourne on Sunday 8 March, Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Tuesday 10 March and The Rosemount in Perth on Wednesday 11 March.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via thephoenix.au.

Motörhead legend Phil Campbell got his start playing guitar at the age of 10 and was performing locally with a cabaret band around his hometown of Pontypridd, Wales, by age 13. He went on to join pub rock act Roktopus before forming his first heavy metal band, Persian Risk, at age 18. Less than five years later, he was performing with Motörhead on stages across the world.
Campbell remained with the band until they disbanded in 2015 after the death of frontman Lemmy Kilmister. He played on 16 of Motörhead’s albums and performed headline and festival gigs all over the globe.
Not long after the demise of Motörhead, Campbell recruited his three sons – Todd, Tyla and Dane – to play with him, and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons was born.
