Perth rock and rollers Blush are back with brand new single, ‘Embarrassed 4 U’.
Following their 2025 debut single ‘Watch You Bleed’, the quartet’s latest is a colourful burst of feminine rage produced by Andy Lawson (Ra Ra Viper, Death By Denim) at Debaser Studio.
Inspired by the likes of Wet Leg, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers and Amyl and the Sniffers, ‘Embarrassed 4 U’ is about how the band believe they’re perceived by the world: “too loud, too overwhelming, too much.”
The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Stephanie Senior that features the band performing to a crowd of angry punters not keen on their sound.
Blush has also announced a run of shows across January and February, kicking things off at Freshwater Brewing Co in Sydney alongside Scoot The Loot, Casual Affair, Sarah And Voya Duo.
The quartet then support The Cherubs at Chuck Trailers in Sydney on Saturday 31 January before joining the Party in the Paddock lineup in Tassie on Sunday 8 February.
Next up, the band are off to Melbourne for a gig at The Old Bar on Thursday 12 February 12 with Paint And Oh! Daisy before Blush wrap up their national tour with ‘embarrassed 4 U’ Mini Fest at Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle with Gloss, Navy June And The Points on Saturday 21 February.
