Perth drum and bass pioneers Pendulum return with single ‘Napalm’, the band’s first new release of 2024.
A collaboration with American hip hop duo Joey Valence & Brae, the tune is everything you could want from a Pendulum track, with fast breaks and a heavy bass line that will shake you to the core.
“As soon as I heard their single ‘Punk Tactics’ I knew we had to work together on a heavy DnB track,” producer and Pendulum founder Rob Swire revealed in a statement about working with Joey Valence & Brae. ‘Napalm’ was recorded with the duo in Swire’s London studio and is a frantic assault of dance-rock energy.
Joey Valence & Brae were also excited to be working with Pendulum, having this to say: “This is such a legendary collab for us. We’ve both been fans of Pendulum and drum and bass in general for so long, so it’s crazy to finally do a track together.”
The release of ‘Napalm’ comes ahead of Pendulum’s set at Reading and Leeds this weekend, with the track sure to get the sweaty festival crowd jumping around like crazy.
