Obongjayar Shares New Single ‘Give Me More’, Announces Australian and New Zealand Tour
The London creative is also releasing an expanded edition of Paradise Now & Forever.

London-based Nigerian artist Obongjayar has shared new single, ‘Give Me More’, the first taste of Paradise Now & Forever, the deluxe edition of his sophomore album Paradise Now.
Out Friday 20 November, Paradise Now & Forever contains four extra tracks, including ‘ Give Me More’, a joyful, Paul Simon-like handclapper produced by the emerging Yeti Beats (Doja Cat).
Recorded between London and LA with Kwes Darko (Pa Salieu, John Glacier), Yeti Beats (Doja Cat) and Beach Noise (Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, Bakar), Paradise Now was critically acclaimed, with the likes of Pitchfork, The Observer, Rolling Stone UK and Crack Magazine awarding the album rave reviews.
To coincide with his new single and Paradise Now & Forever, Obongjayar has announced his Australian and New Zealand return, performing a mix of headline concerts and festivals.
Taking his phenomenal live show on the road, Obongjayar visits Ōtautahi/Christchurch on Friday 27 February, performing at Electric Avenue Festival. Obongjayar then heads to Australia for five dates, performing headline concerts at Metro Theatre in Eora/Sydney on Tuesday 3 March, Princess Theatre in Meanjin/Brisbane on Wednesday 4 March and Northcote Theatre in Naarm/Melbourne on Friday 6 March, and finishing with two festival appearances at Golden Plains Festival in Wadawurrung Land/Meredith on Saturday 7 March and WOMADelaide Festival in Tarntanya/Adelaide on Sunday 8 March.

Beginning his career uploading music to Soundcloud, Obongjayar released several EPs before dropping his incredible 2022 debut album Some Nights I Dream of Doors, which earned him an Ivor Novello award
Obongjayar’s Paradise Now follows on from that record and melds influences from a wide range of sources. It was recorded between London and Los Angeles with Kwes Darko (Pa Salieu, John Glacier), Yeti Beats (Doja Cat) and Beach Noise (Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, Bakar).
A thrilling project that has to be heard, Paradise Now includes tracks such as ‘Just My Luck’, ‘Born In This Body’ and the Little Simz featuring ‘Talk Olympics’, with Obongjayar set to unleash the album on fans during his upcoming tour.
