The UK DJ and producer is bringing the good times to Adelaide Uni Cloisters in February next year.

UK DJ and producer George Evelyn – better known as Nightmares on Wax – returns to Australian and New Zealand shores in 2026 for a run of five shows.
The pioneering artist is one of Warp Records’ longest-serving signings and is known for his mesmerising live sets where he merges soul, roots, hip-hop, dub and electronic textures into one cohesive performance.
Touring the country in February next year, Nightmares on Wax begins with a concert at Freo.Social in Boorloo/Perth on Friday 13 February. Next up is Uni Cloisters in Tandanya/Adelaide on Saturday 14 February, followed by the Northcote Theatre in Naarm/Melbourne on Thursday 19 February and Oxford Art Factory in Eora/Sydney on Friday 20 February. Nightmares on Wax wraps things up in Ōrere Point/Auckland on Saturday 21 February at Splore Festival.

Originally formed as a group project in the late ‘80s between George Evelyn, John Halnon, and later with Kevin Harper, Nightmares on Wax is now all Evelyn, whose latest release, this year’s Echo45 Sound System, is a fearless slice of creativity featuring collaborations with the likes of Yasiin Bey, Greentea Peng, Sadie Walker, Liam Bailey and more.
Taking to Adelaide Uni’s Cloisters, expect an evening of dance-inducing tunes as Nightmares on Wax brings the house down under the starlit sky.
