Applications Now Open for New Found Sound 2025
This is an exciting opportunity for local acts to perform at the returning Port Adelaide festival.

New Found Sound returns to the Port in 2025!
Presented by the City of Port Adelaide in conjunction with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, the one-night music spectacular will once again feature a lineup of amazing local acts performing across multiple venues around Port Adelaide.
This year’s event was a raging success. Up-and-coming artists got the chance to perform to packed crowds while punters were able to support live music while experiencing everything the Port has to offer.
The second edition of New Found Sound will be held on Saturday, January 18 2025 and is shaping as another incredible showcase of South Australia’s live music scene. Applications are now open for bands and artists wishing to be part of the 2025 event.
Artists are encouraged to submit their details asap, with applications closing on Friday, October 4. You can express your interest in performing by filling out the online form here.
Those chosen to play New Sound Found 2025 not only get to strut their stuff in front of large audiences but will also be paid for their efforts and granted the opportunity to connect with local industry people and fellow musos.
This year’s event featured a total of 26 artists, including alt-country singer-songwriter Kelly Menhennett, modern folk act Timberwolf, emerging indie quartet blush and rock collective Sons of Zoku. They performed at a wide range of unique venues throughout the Port, including the likes of The Bansia Tree, Pirate Life Brewery and Fergie Mac’s Lounge.
