Following the release of ‘We Won’t Let Go Until It’s Over’ in April, Superjesus are back with the soaring ‘Something Good’.
The track features Superjesus’ trademark rock sound with vocalist Sarah McLeod telling us “we’re on to something good / we’re on to something special” on the anthemic chorus.
Speaking about the tune, McLeod notes: “Something Good was a song I had a while back that I was harvesting for my solo album, I played it to Ruddy and he saw TSJ potential …so yet again it got swiped for a higher purpose 😊 Ruddy took it to his studio and did a number on it, then it was unleashed on the band. It came up a treat! It’s super fun to play live as well ‘cause finally I have a song where I don’t have to play guitar. I thought lyrically it felt good for where we are at too.”
Bassist Stu Rudd adds: “It is such a great song, initially upon hearing the track, I couldn’t get it out of my head, and it was one of the demos we kept coming back to, and felt it had to be released, once again happily pushing our own boundaries.”
The Superjesus have also shared a music video for ‘Something Good’. Shot by Nix Carel and produced by McLeod, the video shows the band performing live at Mornington Racecourse. You can check out the clip below.

Along with dropping a new tune, The Superjesus have revealed a string of additional tour dates. Already locked in as part of Cold Chisel’s upcoming The Big Five-O Tour, The Superjesus have added several headline shows across the nation including two gigs in Queensland with Screamfeeder, a gig with Dallas Frasca at the Epsy in Melbourne and two performances in New South Wales with Disgraceland.
Sadly the band’s only South Australian show is with Chisel at the VAILO Adelaide 500 post-race concert. Fingers crossed McLeod and co can squeeze in a headline gig in Adelaide in the near future.
