After King of Spain’s successful month long residency at UniBar Adelaide, General Admission Entertainment are excited to reveal local singer-songwriter Ned Baulderstone is the final artist to be awarded a residence as part of the Future Sounds program.
Kaurna-based folk singer-songwriter Baulderstone will perform at UniBar every Thursday throughout the month of June, supported by a revolving roster of incredible musicians from across the country.
The first night of Baulderstone’s residency kicks off June 5 with support from tempL, Jamie Lena and Plum Jam. The remaining gigs take place on June 12 with Aisha Winter and Racoo (VIC) and June 19 alongside Jack Ray and Winter McQuinn (VIC), before the final concert series on June 26, with Baulderstone joined by Dieter Horvan and Jack Davies (WA).
Baulderstone, who combines heartfelt lyrics with acoustic ballads, has been writing music from a young age and has toured both Australia and Europe.
This year, he celebrated the release of his debut album, Gliding Through, a moving ten-track collection highlighting Baulderstone’s multi-instrumental talents, with the songwriter playing guitar, harmonica, piano, and banjo on the record.
Containing the singles ‘A Place for Us’, ‘My Boots’ and ‘The Lake’, Gliding Through is influenced by the great Aussie songwriters, including Paul Kelly and Josh Pyke, along with international legends such as Neil Young and Bob Dylan.
Catch Ned Baulderstone at UniBar Adelaide every Thursday night throughout June from 6pm. Entry is free.
