Mid Drift Plot ‘Open Hand’ Australian Tour

Brisbane’s indie rock favourites Mid Drift are hitting the road this August on their Open Hand Australian tour.
The tour comes in support of the five-piece’s most recent release, ‘Open Hand’, a sun-drenched indie lullaby that marks Mid Drift’s first single of 2025.
Taking to the Gram to announce the tour, the band posted: “we are so excited to announce our next aus tour !!! 🍯🦘cannot wait to be back on the road, seeing your lovely faces again + our mates @gilroyband are jumping on for the ride too xx tickets selling quickly, don't miss out !!”
Kicking things off in Adelaide at The Austral on Friday, August 1, Mid Drift have two shows (all-ages and over 18) lined up at Richmond’s Leadbeater Hotel on Saturday, August 2. The final two gigs are at Wollongong’s La La La’s on Friday, August 15 and Sydney’s The Lansdowne Hotel on Saturday, August 16.
Gilroy are locked in and will play all shows bar Adelaide, where local heroes PASH and Looch have been rounded up as the support.

Having released their debut EP, Lemon Lime and Tan Lines, in February, Mid Drift are excited to be back on the road performing songs from the release for their growing fanbase.
Gaining a reputation for their fantastic live show, having supported the likes of DICE, The Grogans, Ruby Fields & Old Mervs, Mid Drift have quickly found themselves in the conversation as one of Australia’s most promising new acts.
