Legendary UK trip hop act Massive Attack make their long-overdue Australian return this August.
The duo of Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall are bringing their moody, electronic soul meets hip hop creations to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this August for a special run of shows.
Marking Massive Attack’s first headline Australian tour since 2010, fans can expect to hear all of their biggest hits, including ‘Unfinished Sympathy’, ‘Teardrop’, ‘Risingson’, ‘Special Cases’ and more, including their latest track, the Tom Waits collaboration ‘Boots on the Ground’, which is also their first release in 10 years.
Fans can catch Massive Attack at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Thursday 6 August, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday 9 August and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 11 August.
Frontier Member pre-sale begins at 2pm AEST on Thursday 4 June, followed by the general on-sale at 3pm AEST on Friday 5 June. Ticketing information is available at frontiertouring.com.

Formed in 1988 in Bristol, England, and comprising Robert “3D” Del Naja, Grant “Daddy G” Marshall, Adrian “Tricky” Thaws and Andrew “Mushroom” Vowles, Massive Attack blew audiences away with their debut album Blue Lines.
Considered pioneers of the trip hop genre, Massive Attack followed up with Protection in 1994 before scoring their first UK and Australian #1 Album with Mezzanine, which also featured the hit single ‘Teardrop’.
The group released two more albums, 100th Window (2003) and Heligoland (2010), sold over 13 million records worldwide and even won a BRIT Award in 1994 for Best British Dance Act.
Their Australian return is a long time coming, and one that fans won’t want to miss.
