Forming over a decade ago in 2014, Mansionair quickly found themselves in the spotlight after their 2017 single ‘Astronaut (Something About Your Love)’ peaked at #44 on the US Rock Airplay Chart.
That same year, Mansionair’s collaboration with Odesza and WYNNE, ‘Line of Sight’, made it to #23 in the US Alternative Airplay Chart and #37 in the ARIA Single Chart.
Mansionair went on to release their debut album, Shadowboxer, in 2019, and followed up in 2022 with Happiness, Guaranteed.
Gearing up for the release of Some Kind Of Alchemy, Mansionair took to social media to discuss the record, posting: “We made this record with a desire to distil and perfect the very essence of what Mansionair meant to us. It’s an album about connection - between people and places and the way they shape us.
”It was our search for the balance between holding on and letting go. Making this album was a beautiful challenge that somehow manage to flow between us and we couldn’t be prouder of it.”
