Mannequin Death Squad Announce National Tour
The dynamic duo are performing at Pirate Life’s eleventh birthday in February.

Naarm/Melbourne-based punk rock duo Mannequin Death Squad are hitting the road in February for a run of east coast shows.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, the band wrote: “G'day mates! We at last crawled out of the Christmas break all caught up on sleep and KEEN AS HELL to hit the bitumen in the old Falcon wagon THIS FEBRUARY. It's time again to rip some shows along the East and South coast of our beautiful country. So excited to be playing some new cities and some old favs.
“We have more ridiculous MDS things to come right after this, so make sure to catch us while you can! We have no idea where this year may take us. Love you all, see you soon!!
“You can also catch us at @betterloversband next Wednesday in Melbourne! We haven't forgotten about you guys we promise, headline show to come later this year.”
Mannequin Death Squad’s February tour begins in Canberra at The Basement on Tuesday 18 February. Dates follow at Sydney’s Dead Set on Wednesday 19 February, Byron Bay’s The Northern on Friday 20 February, Brisbane’s Valley Crawl Festival on Saturday 21 February and Gold Coast’s Vinnies Dive Bar on Sunday 22 February, with the final performance at Pirate Life Brewing on Saturday 28 February as part of their eleventh birthday celebrations.

Coming together in 2015, Mannequin Death Squad is the creation of Elly and Dan, who both play guitar and drums, and share vocal duties in the band.
Gaining a reputation for their high-energy live shows, the band has a cult following across the country, gaining support from Australian community radio stations such as 3RRR, PBS FM, 4ZZZ, FBi Radio, Radio Adelaide and 2XX FM.
Dropping their sophomore album Wise and Dangerous last year, Mannequin Death Squad have also supported the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, Soulfly, Hollywood Undead and DZ Deathrays, headlined shows across the UK, Europe and India and performed at SXSW Sydney several times.

The playlist includes songs from Aphex Twin, David Byrne, Duke Ellington and more.

The band have pulled out of both the Adelaide and Perth legs of the festival.
