Bossa Nova Queen Lisa Ono kicks off her Love, In Four Cities Australian tour this week.
The celebrated Japanese-Brazilian singer, renowned for her elegant vocals and signature blend of Brazilian rhythms, jazz and international classics, has locked in four shows across the country this October.
"We can't wait for Lisa to connect with Australian audiences this month," says Harmonie International Director Vian Lin.
"As an international arts organisation, we believe in creating moments that are more than concerts. It's a privilege to partner with Lisa to create these moments that stay with you long after the performance."
Last in the country in 2024, celebrating the 35th anniversary of her career, Ono begins her tour this Thursday 15 October in Brisbane at the Brisbane City Hall. She then performs at Melbourne's The Besen Centre on Friday 16 October, followed by a concert at Sydney's Town Hall on Sunday 18 October, wrapping things up at Adelaide Town Hall on Tuesday 20 October.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, to Japanese parents, Lisa Ono grew up surrounded by Brazilian music before moving to Japan. Her musical journey celebrates this cross-cultural heritage, blending Brazilian rhythms with her Japanese heritage to create a sound that continues to inspire generations.
Across her career, Ono has released more than 30 albums, with her most recent, this year's Sue Ann ~ Homage to Antonio Carlos Jobim, an intimate collection of songs recorded with pianist Masaki Hayashi that pays tribute to Bossa Nova pioneer Antonio Carlos Jobim.
A bona fide star of the Bossa Nova movement, Ono's upcoming Australian tour is not to be missed.
