After Tennessee rockers Kings of Leon appeared on Zach Bryan’s latest single, ‘Bowery’ (which sounds more like a KOL track), the country superstar has returned the favour by jumping on the quartet’s new track, ‘We’re Onto Something’.
The track sounds like old KOL with a little country flair, with the addition of Bryan and his harmonica giving it a timeless charm.
Taking to Instagram to discuss the track, Kings of Leon vocalist Caleb Followill said, “I feel like this is just kind of like vibey, good times, not taking it too seriously. The way that the song is written, but also the way that we’re going about it.
He adds, “We’re trying to be less meticulous about every little decision that we make. And just kind of trying to be loose with things, because that’s how it feels the best for us in our world when we’re making music.”
