We throw around the world legend a lot these days, but when it comes to modern heavy metal, the term fits when talking about Killswitch Engage.
The Western Massachusetts metallers helped redefine what metal music could sound like, and after spending last year celebrating 25 years as a band and their most recent album, This Consequence, Killswitch Engage are bringing their live show to Australia and New Zealand this October and November.
Joined by special guests British heavyweight outfit Sylosis, Killswitch Engage are set to deliver all their biggest hits, era‑defining anthems and new favourites when they take over stages across the country later this year.
Killswitch Engage get their tour underway in New Zealand with shows at Auckland’s Powerstation on Saturday 31 October and Wellington’s Moew Nui on Sunday 1 November. They then head across the Tasman and hit Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday 3 November, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday 6 November and Wollongong’s Waves on Saturday 7 November, before rounding out their tour with concerts at Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday 10 November, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday 12 November and Perth’s Metro on Saturday 14 November.
