Prog rockers Karnivool have spent the past five months locked away in a Perth studio and have emerged invigorated and ready to perform for their fans across the nation.
The five-piece have announced 13 shows where they will road test new material, reinvent old songs and chuck in a few surprises to keep audiences on their toes.
“We can’t bloody wait to get out there and share what’s been brewing in the Karnivool riff pot, and show folks what they have to look forward to,” says frontman Ian Kenny.
Karnivool’s Ad Complementum tour begins at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Wednesday, July 16 and continues with shows in capital cities and regional towns around Australia, finishing up with a hometown show at Perth’s Metropolis Fremantle on Friday, October 17.
Pre-sale begins Friday, May 23, at 9:30am local time, with general on-sale commencing Monday, May 26, at 9:30am local time. For ticketing details, visit karnivool.com.

For close to three decades, Karnivool have been at the forefront of the prog rock scene in Australia.
Despite only releasing three albums – Themata (2005), Sound Awake (2009) and the ARIA #1 Asymmetry (2013) – Karnivool have gained a legion of adoring fans both here in Australia and across the world.
The current lineup, comprising original members Ian Kenny (lead vocals) and Drew Goddard (guitar, backing vocals) alongside Jon Stockman (bass, unclean vocals), Mark Hosking (guitar, backing vocals) and Steve Judd (drums), are excited to get back out on the road and share new music with their fans this winter.
