Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, electronic producer Calvin Harris and goth icons The Cure top the bill of next year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
The 2026 edition of the annual music festival takes place on the Isle of Wight in Newport from Thursday 18 June to Sunday 21 June 2026.
The lineup also includes The Last Dinner Party, Sex Pistols, Teddy Swims, Wet Leg, Rick Astley, The Kooks, KT Tunstall and Five, with many more artists to be announced in the coming months.
Discussing next year’s lineup, Festival director Caroline Giddings commented, “It might be our best line-up yet. It’s my favourite so far, at least. We’re proud to put the future of music and current stars on a bill alongside artists like The Cure and the Sex Pistols, who helped lay the foundation of pop culture.”

The UK is home to some of the world’s best music festivals, including the Isle of Wight Festival, which was first held way back in 1968.
Back then, it was a counterculture event that ran for several years until the 1970 event drew such a large crowd that Parliament introduced a bill to cap open-air gatherings, effectively bringing the festival to an end.
The event was finally revised in 2002 as Rock Island, with the 2003 edition named the Isle of Wight Festival, which has since become the festival’s name. The event has become a staple on the European festival calendar and one of the UK’s top music festivals.
The 2025 edition featured the likes of Justin Timberlake, Faithless, Sting, Stereophonics, Jess Glynne and more, with next year’s shaping as another bumper experience.
