Isaiah Rashad Plots Australian Tour 2027

American rapper Isaiah Rashad has announced he's bringing his Lil Sunny's Awful Road Trip World Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2027.

The tour arrives in support of Rashad's critically acclaimed third studio album, It’s Been Awful. Released earlier this year, the record was widely praised by music critics, with CLASH awarding the album 8/10 and calling it "a vulnerable constellation of sounds that flip the bird at complacency."

Playing his first headline Australian and New Zealand shows, Rashad kickstarts his tour in Wellington at Meow Nui on Friday 26 February. The Tennessee rapper then heads to Australia for gigs at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Sunday 28 February, Melbourne's The Forum on Wednesday 3 March and Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 5 March, finishing up the tour at Metro City in Perth on Sunday 7 March.

Pre-sale begins today, Thursday 10 September at 10am AEST and runs until Friday 11 September 9am AEST. General on-sale takes place from 10am AEST on Friday 11 September. Ticketing information is available at livenation.com.au.

First gaining attention as part of the 2012 Smoker's Club Tour alongside rappers Juicy J, Joey Bada$$ and Smoke DZA, Isaiah Rashad signed with Top Dawg Entertainment, dropping his debut EP Cilvia Demo two years later. Released to widespread acclaim, he followed up in 2016 with his debut album The Sun's Triade, which was also applauded by critics.

Rashad has gone on to release two more albums over the past decade, The House Is Burning (2021) and It's Been Awful (2026), performed alongside ScHoolboy Q, Juicy J and more and collaborated with Kendrick Lamar.

Currently touring across North America, Rashad hits Europe early next year before arriving in Australia and New Zealand.
