After ripping it up across stages in Australia in 2024, Michigan’s post-emo heroes Hot Mulligan return next year on their Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still tour.
The tour takes its name from the band’s most recent album, which was critically acclaimed and includes the crowd favourite ‘And a Big Load’.
Hot Mulligan are bringing along some friends on tour, with fellow Michigan emo act saturdays at your place, making their Australia tour debut, and Singapore’s Forests, performing at all shows.

Formed in Michigan in 2014, Hot Mulligan have built a solid fanbase through their pop-infused post-emo hardcore that has resulted in four studio albums, including last year’s acclaimed The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still.
Their best work to date, the album helped the five-piece land on the covers of Kerrang!, Rock Sound and Melodic Mag, and established vocalist Nathan “Tades” Sanville, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Chris Freeman, lead guitarist Ryan “Spicy” Malicsi, bassist Jonah “Fantasy Camp” Kramer and drummer Brandon Blakeley as Michigan’s new favourite sons.
Having performed at Four Chord, Sea.Hear.Now, Riot Fest and Slam Dunk Festivals in the past couple of years, along with supporting Pierce The Veil on their recent UK tour. Hot Mulligan are about to embark on their almost sold-out North American headline tour before a quick trip to Europe and the UK. Then it’s Coachella for the first time, followed by their much hyped Australian return.
Catch Hot Mulligan with support from At Your Place and Forests at The Gov on Monday 27 April. Ticketing information is available at destroyalllines.com.
