Henry Wagons’ Plots ‘Cash: A Journey Through The American Recordings’ South Australian Tour
The formidable troubadour is performing tracks from Johnny Cash’s American Recordings albums.

A regular visitor to our state, singer-songwriter Henry Wagons is heading back our way this October for a special run of shows paying homage to the great Johnny Cash.
Cash: A Journey Through The American Recordings is a showcase of tracks taken from Cash’s American Recordings series of albums. Produced by Rick Rubin, the six albums featured the Man in Black covering songs from a variety of artists, along with reinterpreting several of his own tunes.
Alt-country showman Henry Wagons has announced five shows alongside his band, the mighty Tennessee Studs, performing a selection of Cash songs across South Australia.
Wagon’s run of Johnny Cash tribute shows kicks off at Port Lincoln’s Nautilus Arts Centre on Thursday, October 23 and continues with concerts at Port Pirie’s Nothern Festival Centre on Friday, October 24, Adelaide’s Norwood Concert Hall on Saturday, October 25, Renmarks Chaffey Theatre on Sunday, October 26, and finally, Mount Gambier’s Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre on Tuesday, October 28.

Singer-songwriter, musician, and radio and TV personality are just some of the roles attributed to modern musical outlaw Henry Wagons.
Across a career spanning more than 25 years, Wagons has released eight albums with his group, Wagons, along with four solo records, the most recent being last year’s The Four Seasons.
A frequent guest on RocKwiz and Spicks and Specks, Wagons also had his own BBQ cooking show Keepers Of The Flame, and was one of the highlights at last year’s Adelaide Beer & BBQ Fest.

The expanded set includes remixes from horsegiirL, The Dare and FDC DJs.
To The Grave will be joined by American death metal meets hardcore outfit No Cure.
