you should LISTEN to
Connections – ‘Façade’
“Hold Tight!” vocalist Felicia Tassone screeches as Connections escalate their shimmering electro-pop to a trance-prog-metal explosion. What a flawlessly suiting lyrical message for this artistic venture. 'Façade' is delightfully delicate in tone, but the darkness in its poetic expression is similar to London’s esOterica. The single follows a loud-quiet dynamic, with Felicia magically moving between charming croons and unnerving roars before concluding with a haunting techno dissolution. What a remarkable ride.

Blind Girls
Last year was one for the history books for Gold Coast’s blackened screamo noisecore outfit Blind Girls. Their showcases are fantastic and a must-see if you enjoy hyperenergetic live music.
