Face/Off – ‘Wonky Tooth’
It’s often troublesome to accept that a favourite musical outfit has ended, knowing there isn’t exciting new music, or another performance on the horizon. Thankfully former members of My Catalyst and Aaagh! Cobras! have joined forces to create FACE/OFF, a new melodic hardcore act that could identify as Your Demise’s reckless Aussie cousin. “…would be the greatest gift I could give in my life,” vocalist Scott Berry bellows in ‘WONKY TOOTH’. Perhaps this new chapter is exactly that.

Fusing hard rock, post-punk, heavy-psych, folk, jazz, world music and more, the trio create a soundtrack of acidtrip euphoria through scintillating sonic landscapes. Be prepared to undertake a journey of indescribable enchantment.

After multiple line-up changes, the quintet is returning to celebrate that album with returning vocalist Cove Reber, and possibly new, exciting music.
