Hayley Williams Announces Intimate Australian Shows

We were all in on Hayley Williams playing Laneway Festival next year, and we still think there's a chance, despite the Paramore vocalist announcing that The Hayley Williams Show will land in Australia for two special, intimate nights next year.

After sold-out shows across North and Central America, Williams is perfomring at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 10 February and Melbourne's Forum on Wednesday 17 February.

These shows just happen to fall during the two weeks Laneway Festival is running, and we can't see Williams flying all this way just for two shows.

Whatever happens, those lucky enough to score tickets to the tour will get to hear material from across Williams' three solo albums, along with some exciting surprises.

Following Radiohead's lead, fans will need to register to go into a ballot for tickets. Registrations are open from today, Friday 18 September, until 8am AEST on Sunday 20 September. Every registration completed during this period will be treated the same no matter what time it is received.

Successful registrants who are randomly selected will be emailed with a unique ticket unlock code by 5pm AEST on Monday 21 September. Unsuccessful registrants will also be notified via email by 5pm AEST on Monday 21 September. ​The Chance to Purchase window for successful registrants will open at 10am AEST on Tuesday 22 September.

A three-time Grammy Award winner, Williams is best known as the frontperson of Paramore, but she's also established herself as a solo force.

Her most recent effort, last year's Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, was widely praised by critics and landed at #1 on the US Independent Albums Chart.

While Williams has toured Australia before, the last time with Paramore back in 2023, this marks her first solo tour, with tickets expected to sell fast.
