Grace Petrie Announces 2026 Australia & New Zealand Tour
Firebrand UK folk-punk songwriter returns for her biggest trans-Tasman tour yet!

UK folk firebrand Grace Petrie returns for a run of shows across Australia and New Zealand in 2026
The tour includes headline shows, festival appearances and a special double-bill event with acclaimed Australian duo The Maes.
After first touring Australia and New Zealand in 2020, Petrie has gained a loyal following down under and become a regular visitor to our shores, last touring Oceania in 2024 in support of her album Build Something Better.
Petrie’s tour kicks off with performances at Blue Mountains Music Festival on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March in the Blue Mountains. She then heads to New Zealand for three gigs at Wellington’s San Fran on Tuesday 17 March, Christchurch’s A Rolling Stone on Wednesday 18 March and Auckland’s The Tuning Fork on Thursday 19 March.
The tour then hits Sunshine Coast’s Majestic Theatre on Saturday 21 March, Adelaide’s Trinity Sessions on Sunday 22 March, Hobart’s Altar Bar on Wednesday 25 March, Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Thursday 28 March, Upwey’s Burrinja Cultural Centre on Friday, March 27, Archies Creek Hotel on Sunday 29 March and Syndey’s Marrickville Bowlo on Thursday 2 April, with the final date being the National Folk Festival in Canberra from Friday 3 to Sunday 6 April.

Grace Petrie has been writing protest songs and touring the globe for close to two decades. Releasing her self-titled debut album in 2006, Petrie broke out with her single ‘Black Tie’, which has surpassed 1.2 million streams and was taken from her album Queer As Folk.
Hailed by The Guardian as a “powerful songwriting voice”, her latest album, Build Something Better, was produced by Frank Turner and debuted at #1 on the UK Folk Chart.
