Friends of Friends and Jacob Fitzgerald & the Electric City Plot Joint Co-Headline Tour

Emerging indie rock outfits Jacob Fitzgerald & the Electric City and Friends of Friends have joined forces for an epic four-date national tour.
The two bands will play intimate venues across the country in January next year, showcasing their latest musical endeavours, with Jacob Fitzgerald having recently released his new single ‘A Beautiful Lie’ and Friends of Friends gaining traction after the release of their second EP, Synthetic Flower Chainsaw.
Together, the two bands will perform at Melbourne’s Stay Gold on Friday 16 January, Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Saturday 17 January, Sydney’s The Chippo on Friday 23 January, and finally, Brisbane’s The Brightside on Saturday 24 January.

Backed by his skilled band The Electric City, Jacob Fitzgerald’s electric compositions have seen him touted as one of the country’s hottest live acts.
The Melbourne lad blends rock, country, pop, folk and more, crafting uplifting pop anthems. Jacob Fitzgerald & The Electric City have toured extensively and performed with the likes of Kasabian, Bradley Simpson, Pacific Avenue, The Rions, Selfish Sons, The Struts and Sea Girls.
Friends of Friends have amassed over 1.1 million streams on Spotify thanks to their explosive 2024 debut EP, REAL LIFE, RIGHT NOW. Citing Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda as a fan, Friends of Friends have supported Kasabian, Sea Girls, The Reytons, Slowly Slowly and Short Stack, while they’ve also performed at festivals including Spilt Milk, BIGSOUND, SXSW Sydney and Easy Lover.
Their sophomore EP, Synthetic Flower Chainsaw, shows the next evolution of Friends of Friends and has been supported by media organisations such as triple j, BBC Radio 1, Rock Sound and Kerrang!.
