Perth lads Fool Nelson are back with their new EP, Falling Apart. Following on from the success of their self-titled 2022 debut, Falling Apart is four tracks of luscious indie musing from the likeable trio.
Produced and mixed by Andy Lawson (Death By Denim) and mastered by Steve Smart (King Stingray, The Buoys), Falling Apart features the previously released guitar rocker ‘Alright’ alongside three fresh tunes sure to get you up and about.
“Falling Apart was the first song that we wrote off the EP and the name just seemed to fit the mood of the rest of the tracks we were writing,” the band said in a statement about the EP.
“The songs all kind of fit together with a common thread of us accepting that we’re not in control of everything in our lives and finding ways to deal with that. I think some of this comes across with how the songs have moments of chaos but also moments that are pretty and familiar.”
To celebrate the EP’s release, Fool Nelson has planned some shows across WA. The five-date headline tour includes two performances in Perth along with gigs in Albany, Margaret River and Exmouth.
