Forming in 2013 after Emily Sprague met Rick Spataro and Jonnie Baker while living in Albany, New York, Florist added drummer Felix Walworth and released their debut EP, We Have Been This Way Forever, that same year.
The band followed up with two more EPs in as many years – 6 days of songs (2014) and Holdy (2025) – before dropping their debut album The Birds Outside Sang in 2016.
