American deathcore bandits Fit For An Autopsy return to Australia in 2026 for a run of shows. The New Jersey act will be joined on tour by Florida's Bodysnatcher, rising Australian force Volatile Ways and Pain Body.
The tour announcement coincides with the release of the band’s new single, ‘It Comes For You’. Recorded at Graphic Nature Audio in Kinnelon, NJ, the song was produced, mixed and mastered by Fit For An Autopsy’s Will Putney. ‘
‘It Comes For You’ is a brutal shot of grinding guitars, head-smashing percussion and Joe Badolato’s aggressive vocals. Speaking on the song, Putney states, “An aggressive offering from our camp felt like an appropriate response to the current climate of class disparity and political overreach. Sometimes I feel like we’re beating a dead horse over here, but it’s important to consistently remind the listener to remain intolerant of such authoritarian rule. Believe it or not, but one day, it comes for you.”
The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Eric Richter from Channel 13 Productions.
Heading Down Under in January next year, Fit For An Autopsy have locked in six headline shows along with an appearance at Perth’s Froth & Fury Fest.
The tour begins in Brisbane at The Triffid on Thursday 15 January and continues with gigs at Newcastle’s King St Bandroom on Friday 16 January, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday 17 January, Canberra’s The Basement on Sunday 18 January, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Thursday 22 January and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 23 January, with the final performance coming at Froth & Fury Fest in Perth on Saturday 24 January.
Pre-sale starts on Wednesday 10 September at 9am AEST, with general on-sale on Thursday 11 September at 9am AEST. For full ticketing info, visit humanwarfare.net.
Coming together in 2008, Fit For An Autopsy have continued to evolve and inspire with each album since. Their most recent release, 2024’s The Nothing That Is, is ten tracks of monstrous deathcore addressing themes of anger, fear and frustration that was praised by critics.
The current lineup of vocalist Joe Badolato, guitarists Will Putney, Patrick Sheridan, and Tim Howley, bassist Peter Spinazola, and drummer Josean Orta are gearing up for a 25-date tour of Europe and the UK with Killswitch Engage and a stop at Knotfest Mexico before hitting our shores in January.
