Fanning Dempsey National Park Announce Debut Album 'The Deluge', Share Australian Tour Dates
The duo has locked in five shows, including a date at Hindley St Music Hall in October.

Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey have dropped some big news regarding their new project, Fanning Dempsey National Park. Not only have the duo announced their debut album, The Deluge, is set for release on August 2, but the two accomplished singer-songwriters are taking the show on the road this October and November.
Powderfinger’s Fanning and Something for Kate’s Dempsey have locked in five dates that will see them visit capital cities across the country.
The first show is at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Friday, October 11. Fanning Dempsey National Park then plays shows at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Saturday, October 12, Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide on Friday, October 18, The Forum in Melbourne on Saturday, October 19 and finally the Astor Theatre in Perth on Friday, November 1.
“We’ve been telling you all how excited we are for you to hear our new album, The Deluge, but that doesn’t compare to the fever we have to announce our national tour,” Fanning Dempsey National Park said in a statement. “It’s coming in October/November to a venue near you. Get on board, bring your raincoat, and prepare for a lot of fun.”

Fanning and Dempsey began hinting they were working together in April, sharing snippets of them practising together on their social media accounts. They eventually revealed they had come together under the moniker Fanning Dempsey National Park and released their first single, the blissed out saxophone number ‘Disconnect’.
Along with telling the world the name of their forthcoming album, the pair has also shared who helped put the record together. Fanning Dempsey National Park enlisted Craig McFarland on bass, Adam MacDougall on synths and Michael Urbano behind the sticks to round out the ensemble.
The Deluge also features production from Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, The National, Sam Fender) and engineering work from Dani Bennett-Spragg (IDLES, The Rolling Stones, Noel Gallagher) and Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine).
