Epicure Announces First National Tour In 16 Years

Prog-rockers Epicure also have a new album on the way, 'Evenings In Honduras'.

Beloved Ballarat alt-rockers Epicure have announced their return with a new album, Evenings In Honduras, out Friday 29 August, and an Australian tour this September and October.

Evenings In Honduras is the band's first full-length release in almost 20 years, with the band giving fans a taste of what to expect with new single 'Is There Any Way Out Now?', a '90s rocker oozing nostalgia vibes.

Epicure's upcoming Australian tour kicks off with a hometown show at Ballarat's Her Majesty's Theatre on Saturday 29 August. The tour then hits Sydney's The Lansdowne on Friday 9 October, Brisbane's The Brightside on Saturday 10 October, Adelaide's The Ed Castle on Friday 16 October, Fremantle's Mojos on Saturday 17 October, Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Saturday 24 October and finally, Torquay's Torquay Hotel on Friday 30 October.

Emerging during the height of Australia's alt-rock scene in the mid-90s, Epicure released four acclaimed studio albums, sold out headline shows nationwide and shared the stage with the likes of Powderfinger, Silverchair, John Butler Trio, Gomez, Live and Train

Breaking through in 2004 with their second album The Goodnight Girl, the album spawned radio favourite 'Armies Against Me', which reached the ARIA Top 100 Singles Chart and landed at #21 in the 2003 Hottest 100 countdown

Going their separate ways in 2010, Epicure briefly reunited in 2015 for two sold out Victorian performances. More than a decade later, the lads are reinvigorated and ready for the next chapter of their storied career.
