Since coming together in 1995, Ensiferum have released music at a prolific rate, with their eighth studio album, Thalassic, establishing them as Finnish leaders of the metal folk scene.

The album topped Finland's album charts, reached #3 in Germany and made the top ten in Switzerland, Canada and the USA. The success of Thalassic led to two massive world tours and festival appearances at Wacken, Hellfest, Summer Breeze and Ragnarök.

Having gone through several lineup changes over the years, the current collection of musicians (Markus Toivonen, Petri Lindroos, Sami Hinkka, Janne Parviainen and Pekka Montin) is excited to be back on the road celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary and new album.
