Global pop superstar Ed Sheeran returns to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 on his all-new Loop tour.
The massive run of stadium shows takes place next January, February and March, with the ‘Shape of You’ singer locking in 11 dates across NZ and Oz.
The tour arrives as Sheeran plots the release of his new album, Play (pre-order here), which is set for release Friday 12 September. Sheeran is aiming for his eighth consecutive ARIA Album #1 with the release of Play.
Kicking off his tour in New Zealand, Sheeran performs at Auckland’s GO Media Stadium on Friday 16 January, Wellington’s Sky Stadium on Wednesday 21 January and Christchurch’s Apollo Projects Stadium on Saturday 24 January.
Sheeran then hotfoots it over to Perth for a gig at Optus Stadium on Saturday 31 January, followed by two shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday 13 February and Saturday 14 February, two dates at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Friday 20 February and Saturday 21 February and a further two concerts at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Thursday 26 February and Friday 27 February. Sheeran wraps things up in Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Thursday 5 March for what promises to be a huge party.

Ed Sheeran’s upcoming Play album marks a new chapter for the former busker. Preceded by singles ‘Azizam’, ‘Sapphire’ and ‘Old Phone’, the release has been described as “an explorative, technicolour pop album that captures the fun, chaos, and heart of an artist reinvigorated by life and travel.”
The four-time Grammy Award winner was inspired by Indian and Persian cultures, along with his Irish heritage, while writing and recording Play.
Considering how quickly tickets sold for his last tour, fans are being urged to sign up for the pre-sales to give themselves the best chance of scoring a ticket.
