dust Announce December Australian Tour
The band’s debut album Sky Is Falling arrives this October.

Newcastle post-punkers dust have unveiled a run of Australian dates this December.
The tour is in support of the five-piece’s upcoming debut album, Sky Is Falling, which arrives Friday 10 October via dust/Virgin Music Group (pre-order/pre-save here).
The album, which has been compared to Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine, finds dust continuing to experiment with their sound. Preceded by the singles ‘Drawbacks’, ‘Alastair’ and ‘Restless’, Sky Is Falling ushers in the next evolution of dust.
The band’s four-date national tour begins in Tarntanya/Adelaide at Jive on Friday 5 December and continues with dates at Meanjin/Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on Saturday 6 December, Eora/Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Friday 12 December and Naarm/Melbourne’s Evelyn Hotel on Saturday 13 December.

dust are vocalists and guitarists Justin Teale and Gabriel Stove, bassist Liam Smith, saxophonist and guitarist Adam Ridgway and drummer Kye Cherry.
The band gained cult-like status with the release of their 2023 debut EP et cetera, etc, which Clunk Mag awarded four out of five stars and said makes “the listener want to immediately book a show and mosh to them.”
Touring extensively across Australia and Europe, dust have supported the likes of Bloc Party, Interpol, Slowdive and DZ Deathrays, with their debut album Sky Is Falling one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
