Australian rocker Diesel has announced he’s hitting the road in support of his latest album, Bootleg Melancholy.
The singer-songwriter and guitarist’s expansive tour comes just a few short months after he played select dates across the country in March and April. The accomplished musician is performing 13 shows throughout September, October and November.
The ‘Bootleg Melancholy’ tour opens in Adelaide with two shows, the first at Norwood Concert Hall on Saturday, August 31 followed by another at Shedley Theatre in Elizabeth on Sunday, September 1. Diesel then struts his stuff in Melbourne, Warragul, Hobart, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Batemans Bay, Canberra, Perth and Darwin before a final gig at the Playhouse Theatre in Caloundra on Friday, December 13.
Fans can expect to hear songs from Bootleg Melancholy along with fan favourites such as ‘Tip of My Tongue’ and ‘Never Miss Your Water’.
Pre-sale tickets for the tour go on sale Thursday, July 11 at 11:30am. General sale kicks off Monday, July 15 at 11:30am. You can find all the details at dieselmusic.com.au.

Along with announcing his new tour, Diesel also dropped a music video for Bootleg Melancholy single ‘Remember My Love’.
Speaking about the album closer Diesel said: “The song is about not forgetting that there are others around us who are experiencing the same human condition and not to get stuck in a moment. In part, I’m speaking to myself; a reminder that one must be at peace to some degree to be able to give solace to others. It’s also a mantra that in times of despair I’ve tapped into, just the idea of being loved can snap me out of spiralling down.”
The music video for ‘Remember My Love’, which you can watch above, was shot by Diesel’s daughter, Lily Lizotte, and edited by Blake Fraser.
“For the video, I thought it would be a good fit to return to where I remember writing most of the song, which is down by the nearby ports where I spend a lot of time decompressing. With a wide-open horizon leading west, the sunsets are always vivid,” Diesel shared.
