Descendents Celebrate 30 Years of ‘Everything Sucks’ With Australian and New Zealand Tour 2026
Fans can expect to hear all their favourite tracks from Descendents’ seminal album.

Cali punk greats Descendents are touring Australia and New Zealand to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, Everything Sucks.
Released in 1996, Everything Sucks is regarded by most punk fans as a genre classic. A collection of 15 hardcore pop punk tracks sprinkled with the band’s trademark humour, the record was well received upon its release, peaking at #4 on Billboard’s Heatseeker Album Charts.
Descendents will be performing the bulk of tracks from Everything Sucks on their upcoming Australasian tour, along with all the hit tracks fans love to hear.
The tour kicks off at Barwon Heads Hotel on Tuesday 3 June, with dates following at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Thursday 5 June, Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Friday 6 June, Adelaide’s The Gov on Sunday 8 June, Perth’s Astor Theatre on Monday 9 June, Sydney’s Roundhouse on Wednesday 11 June, Brisbane’s Tivoli on Thursday 12 June and Gold Coast’s The Balcony on Friday 13 June.
The final two concerts take place in New Zealand at Wellington’s Meow Nui on Monday 16 June and Auckland’s Powerstation on Tuesday 17 June.

Since forming way back in 1977, Descendents have been through several lineup changes, breakups and reformations, with the current quartet consisting of vocalist Milo Aukerman, guitarist Stephen Egerton, bassist Karl Alvarez and drummer Bill Stevenson.
Across Descendents’ nearly 50-year career, the group have helped develop the Los Angeles hardcore punk scene while becoming famous for their outrageous, high-energy live shows.
Descendents have released eight albums and a slew of EPs over the decades and inspired a generation of punk and hardcore bands. Their upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour is a must for fans of the genre who want to witness one of the great hardcore punk acts in action.

The band’s upcoming album Tally is out on Friday, 24 July via Poison City Records.
The track arrives alongside an epic music video featuring both acts.
The band will be joined on the road by Ratcat and The Stems.
The South Australian festival also features performances from Kita Alexander, The Teskey Brothers and Old Mervs.
