‘Pink Limo’ is the latest release from Australian dance act Crooked Colours. Following last year’s ‘I Can’t Forget You’, Crooked Colours’ latest banger is a festival anthem ready-made for the big stage.
The creation of West Aussie Philip Slabber, Crooked Colours has been a mainstay of the Australian electronic landscape for almost 15 years.
Speaking on the new track, Slabber says, “‘Pink Limo’ is about chasing that late-night feeling. When everything’s a little surreal, a little romantic, and you’re not ready for it to end. It’s nostalgic but forward-moving at the same time. I wanted it to feel warm, hypnotic, and slightly reckless. Like cruising nowhere in particular but exactly where you’re meant to be.”
Three albums into his career, the release of ‘Pink Limo’ signals a bold new chapter for Crooked Colours.
