2025 just keeps on getting bigger and better for London-based Aussies, Confidence Man.
After their third studio album, 3AM (La La La), received high praise from the global music press, the band performed another standout set at Glastonbury Festival. As well as taking to the stage for their allotted time, Confidence Man’s Janet Planet and Sugar Bones joined UK singer-songwriter JADE to perform their new collaboration, ‘gossip’.
The track is another dose of euphoric electronic pop from Confidence Man, with JADE giving the acid dance track an added level of exuberance. It’s fun, silly club music and harks back to the early days of CM.
“Talk shit, get a hit. There’s been a lot of chat going round, but we can finally give you the truth of it. Gossip is here and god it tastes good. JADE put the cherry on top of this pop sundae and we can’t stop eating,” Confidence Man said of the track.
JADE adds: “I met Confidence Man at the Rolling Stone Awards and loved them. Working on this track with them was so much fun and as chaotic as we live for.”
The release of ‘gossip’ follows on from Confidence Man’s recent team-up with UK dance pioneers Orbital on the supersonic single, ‘Re-Lush’.
