Coastal Sounds Returns June 2026

Experience awesome live music in a beautiful coastal setting.
Annual coastal festival Coastal Sounds returns this year with another stellar lineup of incredible artists.
Delivering its biggest program yet, the free, family-friendly event takes place across the long weekend on Sunday 7 June and stretches from West Beach through to Henley Beach, Grange and Semaphore.
Kicking off at 10am, Coast Sounds 2026 transforms 13km of South Australia’s western coastline into a collection of live performances, workshops and interactive art experiences, along with a fun and dynamic kids’ program chock full of activities.
Supported by the Australian Government’s Revive Live program and proudly presented by the City of Charles Sturt and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, some of the highlights of this year’s program include:
- Alain Valodze and Zhao Liang blending guitar and guzheng to create a meditative, genre-defying sound
- Adelaide-based melodic genre-blender Baby Mo
- 9-year-old ‘one-man band’ multi-instrumentalist Jaden Little Rocker
- Nationally respected singer-songwriter Max Savage
- Carla Mattiazzo reprising songs from her sold-out Canine Cabaret Fringe show
- Renowned artist Sue Norman creating a live beach sand mandala at Henley
- Ukrainian Cossack dance workshops with Volya
- A kids’ program including a Baby Dinosaur Petting Zoo, DJ Monski Mouse, Upsound Instruments make and play workshops, Climbing Tree nature play space and more
As the sun sets, the program moves indoors at several special coastal venues where local talent will take centre stage, including experimental art-rock artist Anya Anastasia, ethereal songwriter effie isobel, retro rockers Caressa, indie favourites The Birds Are Spies, ambient creative My Chérie and more.
