Fresh from supporting Sex Pistols on their recent Australian tour, CIVIC have revealed a run of Australian headline shows this September.
The announcement comes as CIVIC prepare for the release of their third album, Chrome Dipped, which was produced by Kirin J. Callinan.
Arriving this Friday, May 30 via ATO Records, the album has produced three singles – ‘The Hogg’, ‘Chrome Dipped’, and the just-released ‘The Fool’, which has been described by the band as a “nihilistic death march about dreamers and idiots.”
Heading out on the road with Adelaide’s own Coldwave, CIVIC have locked in five dates, beginning with a gig at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on the Gold Coast on Thursday, September 4. The punk rockers then hit Brisbane’s The Brightside on Friday, September 5, Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Saturday, September 6, and Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Friday, September 12, before bringing the tour to an end at The Croxton in Melbourne on Saturday, September 13.
Tickets for all five shows are on sale now via civicivic.com.
