Grammy Award-winning blues musician Christone “Kingfish” Ingram returns to Australia next year as part of his massive Hard Road World Tour.
Having performed at Byron Bay Bluesfest earlier this year, along with a couple of sold-out east coast shows, Kingfish’s upcoming tour comes in support of his latest acclaimed album, Hard Road.
Kingfish’s first-ever release on his own label, Red Zero Records, Hard Road represents an evolution in the singer-songwriter and guitarist’s sound, merging blues, rock, funk, soul and R&B into a collection of 11 incredible songs.
The Hard Road tour begins with a show in Brisbane at The Triffid on Wednesday 25 February and continues with gigs at The Green Room in Tyagarah on Thursday 26 February, Harmonie German Club in Canberra on Saturday 28 February and Melbourne’s The Forum on Sunday 1 March. The final two concerts take place at Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on Wednesday 4 March and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Friday 6 March.
Support comes from Aussie blues muso Ash Grunwald.
