Bigsound Unveils Full 2025 Program
This year’s BIGSOUND takes place from September 2-5 in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

It’s finally here. The official BIGSOUND 2025 program has been unveiled and it features 130 bands, 100 industry speakers and 70 conference sessions and workshops.
Taking place in venues across Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley from September 2-5, this year’s BIGSOUND is one of the festival’s most diverse programs to date.
Artists performing include Polish Club, Mannequin Death Squad, The Beefs, Sunsick Daisy Ella Ion and Velvet Bloom, alongside speakers such as The Great Escape’s Adam Ryan, triple j Unearthed’s Claire Mooney, BBC Radio 6’s Deb Grant, Indigenous rap star Briggs and twnty three’s Melody Forghani.
The event gives artists the chance to interact with industry types from across the globe and make connections and form relationships they normally wouldn’t be able to. Along with all the incredible artists performing at events such as Live Nation ONES TO WATCH Showcase and the Amazon Music Sessions at La La Land, those heading along can also attend the BIGSOUND River Cruise, Select Music’s 20 Year Birthday Party and the Oztix BIGSOUND Closing Night Party, which is not to be missed.
Stuart Field, co-founder of Oztix said, “We’re turning up the volume with an epic lineup featuring Kisschasy, The Southern River Band and Day We Ran, along with some of the most exciting acts in the country right now! The Oztix Party is about teaming up with our mates at QMusic to bring the vibes and hospitality to a venue full of industry legends and music lovers.”
Oztix is also presenting the official BIGSOUND Delegate Hub at Fortitude Music Hall where the conference mainstage is located. It’s also a dedicated work space for those who need some time on their laptop.
For the first time, the BIGSOUND Content House will be an area for creators, marketing and media professionals to gather, with a range of workshops and masterclasses taking place.
Returning once again is the Brunswick Mall Stage, hosting free all-ages programs including Writers in the Round, Big Loud, Yama-Nui Records & OneRPM and Winners of the Qube Effect.

Speaking on the continued support BIGSOUND receives, QMusic and BIGSOUND Director of Partnerships, Michelle Connery, said, “Every dollar that’s invested in us by our partners goes directly to programs and events that bolster our industry - like BIGSOUND.
