The annual showcase of Aussie music takes place in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley this September.

Applications for BIGSOUND, the southern hemisphere’s largest dedicated music showcase and conference, are now open.
Running from Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, September 4, the annual event takes in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley over three fun-filled days and features live music, keynote speeches and networking opportunities.
The biggest A&R event in the country allows up-and-coming bands the chance to showcase their stuff in front of not only some of the most influential names in the music biz, including agents, promoters, A&R and music supervisors, but also local and international media, with coverage of the event reaching an incredible 24.6 million people worldwide.
BIGSOUND is open to all genres of music and it doesn’t matter whether a band is signed or unsigned – all are welcome to apply to perform.

BIGSOUND has uncovered some absolute gems over the journey, including the likes of G Flip, DMA’s, The Temper Trap, Gang of Youths, Flume and Tash Sultana.
Not only do applicants get the chance to perform live, but BIGSOUND is a great networking platform for new bands to get a foot in the door.
The application process is simple and requires those keen to attend BIGSOUND to submit a short bio with two tracks, artist images and video content. Organisers also want to know about the goals of each artist and any notable achievements.
More information regarding keynote speakers, special guests and panellists will be revealed in the coming months in the leadup to this year’s BIGSOUND.
BIGSOOUND 2025 runs from Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, September 4. Applications are open now via bigsound.com.
