It’s finally happening – American metalcore champions Better Lovers are touring Australia in 2026.
The band’s first Aussie juant comes in support of their debut album Highly Irresponsible, which arrived last year to much critical acclaim, with Kerrang! calling the album “a no-holds-barred debut that proves beyond doubt the chaotic beauty of being Highly Irresponsible.”
Better Lovers’ Australian tour commences on Friday 23 January at Crowbar in Brisbane. It continues with dates at Newcastle’s Hamilton Station on Saturday 24 January, Sydney’s Manning Bar on Sunday 25 January, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Wednesday 28 January and Belgrave’s Sooki Lounge on Thursday 29 January, wrapping up in Adelaide at Lion Arts Factory on Friday 30 January.
Joining Better Lovers on tour are UK nu metal act Split Chain and Gold Coast DIY screamo heroes Blind Girls.

Often described by fans as a metalcore “supergroup”, Better Lives consists of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s former vocalist Greg Puciato, Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley (guitar), Steve Micciche (bass) and Clayton Holyoak (drums) and Fit For An Autopsy guitarist Will Putney.
Forming in 2023 after the demise of Every Time I Die, the band have found a huge global following in the heavy world, releasing the EP God Made Me an Animal (2023) and following it up with their debut album, Highly Irresponsible (2024).
In the space of a couple of years, Better Lovers have garnered millions of streams and performed on stages across the world, including festivals such as Aftershock, Furnace Fest, and Graspop, with their Aussie tour one not to be missed for heavy music fans.
