Loonelyspeck – Crown of My Spirit
After five years of crafting, local musician Lonelyspeck release their debut LP, Crown of My Spirit. Between heavy electro pop breakdowns, seamless track transitions and mesmerising vocal harmonies, the record delivers an energy-filled experience of highs and lows. The album is about learning to cope with and accept the cynical arcs of time and living. Personal favs include ‘Fossil’, ‘Tether’, ‘Wear Me Down’ and ‘Amulet’. Hypercube Infinite
Hypercube makes a triumphant return to the underground scene with Hypercube Infinite at the Queen’s Theatre. The show features two international acts, Malibu (France), known for her lush ambient sound, and experimental group Rắn Cạp Đuôi (Vietnam). Local support features new shoegaze band Somewhere, alongside Lonelyspeck and Travis Cook. If you’re someone who is interested in exploring more experimental and left-field music, this is the sign you’ve been waiting for.
