Metalcore wonders Beartooth have announced their biggest ever Australian tour to coincide with the release of their new album, Pure Ecstasy, out Friday 28 August via Fearless Records.
Beartooth’s sixth album and first with their new label, Pure Ecstasy features 11 chaotic tracks, including the album’s high-energy title track.
“Song one is always a crucial part of an album to me. It’s gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate,” says lead vocalist Caleb Shomo about the title track. “‘Pure Ecstasy’ was birthed in a studio with Misha Mansoor, ridiculous loudspeakers, and the dumbest, heaviest chugs we could chug. Once it was brought home and expanded on with Jordan Fish, there was no question it was the album opener. Play loud and kick ass.”
Heading down under in January 2027, Beartooth are bringing along their good mates Fit For A King and Volumes.
Kicking things off in the City of Churches on Tuesday 26 January at Thebarton Theatre, Beartooth then play shows at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Thursday 28 January and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday 30 January, wrapping up the tour at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Sunday 31 January.

Beginning life as a one-man project created by Shomo in his basement, Beartooth have evolved into a celebrated five-piece with five awesome albums under their belt, including 2023’s The Surface, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Music charts and produced the #1 rock radio hits ‘Might Love Myself’ and ‘I Was Alive’.
Beartooth have garnered over 1.3 billion streams globally, sold-out headline tours and just finished supporting Bad Omens on their arena tour. Fans can expect an immersive live experience next year, with Beartooth performing a career-defining set.
Support acts Fit For A King and Volumes are also stalwarts of the metalcore genre, with Texas outfit Fit For A King having released eight albums and toured extensively with the likes of Killswitch Engage, Motionless In White, I Prevail, Parkway Drive, The Devil Wears Prada and The Plot In You, while Volumes are 15 years deep into a career that’s seen them garner over 167 million streams in the US alone, drop five studio albums and share stages with everyone from Ice Nine Kills and Born of Osiris to Dance Gavin Dance and Counterparts.
