BASSINTHEGRASS returns to the Northern Territory’s Mindil Beach in Darwin for another year of awesome live music.
Celebrating its 23rd year of bringing live music to the Northern Territory, BASSINTHEGRASS returns to Darwin’s Mindil Beach on Saturday 16 May 2026.
Next year’s festival is set to feature an all-star lineup of artists spanning multiple genres, with premium ticketing options up for grabs for those who want an elevated experience.

Presented by the Northern Territory Major Events Company, BASSINTHEGRASS continues to be a major force in the Australian festival scene.
Last year’s event featured a diverse lineup of Aussie acts, including Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, The Jungle Giants, The Dreggs, Cyril and 3%, and also introduced the family-friendly BASS Camp for kids.
“Beyond the music, the festival creates an atmosphere that brings people together, supports the local economy, and showcases the Territory’s unique lifestyle,” said Northern Territory Major Events Company Executive Director, Aimee Luxton.
