August Burns Red Announce ‘Season of Surrender’ Australian and New Zealand Tour 2026

Metalcore stalwarts August Burns Red return to Australian and New Zealand shores this September and October.
Touring in support of their 2025 album Season of Surrender, the Grammy Award-nominated outfit will be joined by special guests bloom and I Promised the World.
“We are so excited to headline Australia for the first time in 7 years and return back to New Zealand after a decade!” August Burns Red said in a statement about the tour. “We are bringing two of the best up-and-coming acts in metalcore today to make this a can’t miss show. This tour will also be the first place in the world where we do a tour celebrating the release of our brand new record, Season of Surrender. We hope to see you all soon!”
Kicking things off in Perth on Sunday 27 September at Freo Social, August Burns Red continue with gigs at The Gov in Adelaide on Tuesday 29 September, 170 Russell in Melbourne on Thursday 1 October, Liberty Hall in Sydney on Friday 2 October, King St Bandroom in Newcastle on Saturday 3 October and The Tivoli in Brisbane on Sunday 4 October. The final two concerts take place in New Zealand at Wellington’s San Fran on Wednesday 7 October and Auckland’s Powerstation on Thursday 8 October.

August Burns Red have been ripping up stages across the globe for more than two decades. Over that time, they’ve released 11 studio albums, accumulated 600+ million streams and toured with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine through to A Day To Remember and countless more.
The settled lineup of OG members John Benjamin “JB” Brubaker (lead guitar), Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar) and Matt Greiner (drums, piano), alongside Jake Luhrs (lead vocals) and Dustin Davidson (bass, backing vocals), have been together for 20 years, honing their progressive metal sound into one fans across the world have connected with.
