Adelaide indie pop rock trio The Mondays have today dropped their debut album Look How The Sky Turns Blue.
Taking inspiration from artists like Dom Fike, Frank Ocean and Jean Dawson, Look How The Sky Turns Blue is 12 tracks of sunny indie fun, incorporating pop melodies, driving guitars, distorted vocals and playful hooks that’s sure to soundtrack many house parties over the summer.
Describing the album as bridging “the gap between [The Mondays] over-the-top live shows and late-night studio sessions,” Look How The Sky Turns Blue was self-produced by the band and includes the focus track, ‘Keep On Running’, a two and a half burst of pop punk goodness.
