A Place To Bury Strangers Announce 2026 Australian Tour

American rock trio A Place To Bury Strangers have announced a 2026 Australian tour in support of their 2024 long player, Synthesizer.
The current lineup of Oliver Ackermann (vocals, guitar, bass, drums), Sandra Fedowitz (drums) and John Fedowitz (bass) have been together since 2021 and spent the past year touring their much lauded seventh album.
A Place To Bury Strangers’ four-date Australian tour kicks off in Sydney at Oxford Art Factory on Thursday 5 February and continues with shows at Brisbane’s Season 3 on Friday 6 February, Melbourne’s The Evelyn on Saturday 7 February and Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Sunday 8 February.

Since forming in 2002, A Place To Bury Strangers have released seven studio albums, over a dozen EPs, a live album and a remix record.
While the band have been through a mass of lineup changes over the past two decades, the current trio have been together since 2021. This new iteration of the band was inspiring for Ackermann. “It felt like a fresh new thing,” he says. “I wanted to write songs everyone was excited about playing.”
