After selling out shows across the globe, Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad are coming home for a massive Australian tour in 2026.
Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show is a theatrical adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning children’s show aimed at both kids and adults. The show uses puppets to tell an original story written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm with music by Bluey composer Joff Bush.
When Dad wants a quiet afternoon at home, Bluey and Bingo do everything they can to get the old man off his bean bag in this hilarious production The Guardian called “a glorious celebration of everything you love about the show.”
Directed by Rosemary Myers of Windmill Theatre Company and presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co, Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show also features the original voices heard in the television show, including the instantly recognisable tones of Melanie Zanetti (Mum) and David McCormack (Dad).
Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show runs from December 2025 until October 2026, with the production taking over Her Majesty’s Theatre in Adelaide from 4-8 February 2026.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from 10am AEST on Wednesday 10 September exclusively for Bluey newsletter subscribers. General on-sale takes place from 10am AEST on Friday 12 September via blueylive.com.

Following record-breaking tours across the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, New Zealand, and Singapore, the production is now set to return to Australia,” added Andrew Kay, Producer of Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show.
Since making its debut on Aussie TV screens in 2018, Bluey has become the biggest kids’ show on the planet. Not only is it beloved by children but critics too, with the show recently winning Best Children’s Program at the 2025 TV WEEK Logie Awards.
Revolving around the anthropomorphic Blue Heeler puppy Bluey and her family – father Bandit, mother Chilli and younger sister Bingo – the show has connected with audiences around the world through its lovable animation, depiction of Australian culture and relatable themes exploring family life and growing up.
